Lizzy Medrano
Lizzy Medrano started dancing in San Antonio at the age of four. She has trained at Raymond Zapata Ballet Folklorico Nacional, San Antonio School for the Performing Arts, and Alamo City Arts Academy under Katie Hall and Susan Treviño. Lizzy has performed in various productions such as The Nutcracker, Animalia, Coppelia, Fairytale Theater, the original ballet Seis Colores de Tejas, and the 64th–68th seasons of Fiesta Noche del Rio.
In addition to performing, Lizzy has choreographed for many productions, including Alamo City Arts’ Nutcracker, the Sensory-Friendly Nutcracker production in collaboration with Eva’s Heroes, Fiesta Noche del Rio, and the Ford Holiday River Parade.
Lizzy has a true passion for spreading the love of dance and is dedicated to shaping the minds of young dancers. She currently serves as Alamo City Arts Academy’s Program Director for St. Luke’s Dance Enrichment Program as well as the Academy’s Office Manager.
Ms.Lizzy currently teaches:
Adult Jazz/Hiphop - Wednesdays 8:00-9:00pm
Adult Tap - Thursdays 8:00-9:00pm
