Alamo City Arts Academy is the premiere ballet school of Alamo City Arts. Founded in 1992, Alamo City Arts, 501c3, was created with the idea that the arts are for everyone. Our mission is to create excitement, love and a genuine appreciation of the performing arts in the San Antonio community through educational performance opportunities alongside professional artists. Alamo City Arts proudly offers over 42 performance opportunities throughout the year, including the Ford Holiday River Parade and the longest continually running Nutcracker in San Antonio.
Through the establishment of Alamo City Arts Academy, The Alamo City Arts board and artistic staff aim to enhance the success of our mission while continuing to support the Alamo City Dance Company, Alamo City Ballet Folklorico, Alamo City Stage Company, Alamo City Symphony Viva, Alamo City Mariachi Academy, Memory Lane Dance Band and the Heart of Texas Concert Band.
