This interactive and engaging class is a wonderful opportunity for parents and toddlers to bond, explore, and have fun through the joy of movement and music. Led by our experienced instructors, our Mommy & Me class incorporates playful activities, creative movement exercises, and simple dance steps that promote physical development, coordination, and social interaction. Together, parents and toddlers will sing, dance, and play with props in a nurturing and supportive environment. This class not only introduces toddlers to the world of dance but also provides a special bonding experience for parents and their little ones.
It is recommended that Mommy & Me students take this 45 minute class once a week. Requirements:
Able to confidently walk independently
Must wear uniform
One(1) Parent/Guardian must be present for the entirety of the class
Option 1: Light pink cap sleeved leotard with attached skirt. Pink footed tights* and pink ballet shoes. Hair worn up in a tight bun.

Creative Movement - Pre-Ballet 1 with Tap - (Ages 3-5)
Creative Movement (Pre-Ballet 1 with Tap) is an independent level class suggested for students aged 3 to 6 who are eager to explore the world of dance and develop their coordination, rhythm, and musicality. Creative Movement’s main objective is to instill a genuine love for dance and movement. Creative Movement classes will comprise of pre-ballet movements, which emphasize grace, poise, and body awareness. Through fun and creative exercises, children will learn basic ballet positions, movements, and terminology. In the tap portion of the class, we'll transition to pre-ballet movements, which emphasize grace, poise, and body awareness. Through fun and creative exercises, children will learn basic ballet positions, movements, and terminology. Throughout the class, we'll use playful music and props, such as scarves and ribbons, to encourage children to express themselves through movement and explore their creativity. We'll also incorporate games and imaginative play to make the learning process fun and engaging for our young dancers. Students will spend half to three quarters of the class in ballet slippers and the remainder of the time in tap shoes. Our class is taught by experienced and enthusiastic instructors who are dedicated to providing a positive and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. By the end of the class, your child will have developed new skills, made new friends, and discovered the joy of dance.

Pre-Folklorico (ages 3-5)
Pre-folklorico (Movement basics with Folklorico) is an independent level class suggested for students aged 3 to 5 who are eager to explore the world of folkorico and develop their coordination, rhythm, and musicality. Through fun and creative exercises, children will learn basic folklorico, movements, and terminology. Students will spend half to three quarters of the class in ballet slippers or socks and the remainder of the time in folklorico shoes.
It is recommended that Pre-Folklorico students take this one-hour class once a week.

Dance Foundations - Pre-Ballet 2 with Jazz - (Ages 5-8)
Dance Foundations (Pre-ballet 2 with Jazz) is an independent level class and recommended for ages 5-8. The class will focus on building a solid foundation in dance technique, while incorporating elements of jazz to add variety and fun. Students will begin each class with a warm-up that includes stretching and basic ballet exercises to improve flexibility, coordination, and balance. Next, they will move on to learning jazz movements such as kicks, turns, and jumps, which will be integrated into choreography. The class will also include basic dance terminology and the fundamentals of rhythm and musicality. As the students progress, they will learn how to express themselves through movement, and develop their own sense of style. The dance foundations class (pre-ballet 2) with jazz for ages 5-8 is taught in a supportive and nurturing environment, where the focus is on building confidence and having fun. Students will leave each class feeling energized and empowered, with a newfound appreciation for the art of dance.

Introduction to Ballet Folklorico - (Ages 5-7)
This class is an independent level class designed for young children ages 5-7 who are interested in learning the fundamentals of Ballet Folklorico de Mexico, a traditional Mexican dance style. Through this class, students will be introduced to the basic steps and techniques of Ballet Folklorico, as well as the cultural history behind the dance style. The class will start with a warm-up, which includes stretching and exercises that prepare the body for dancing. Students will then learn basic Ballet Folklorico steps such as the "zapateado" footwork and "skirt work" that is commonly seen in this dance style. The teacher will also introduce various rhythms and music genres used in Ballet Folklorico. Throughout the class, the teacher will incorporate traditional costumes and props such as sombreros, ribbons, and colorful skirts to help students connect with the cultural aspect of the dance. Students will learn to work together in small groups to perform simple choreographies and build their coordination, rhythm, and musicality.
In addition to developing dance skills, this class aims to promote cultural awareness and appreciation for Mexican traditions. The class will be taught by a trained Ballet Folklorico instructor with experience teaching young children. The instructor will create a safe and supportive environment that fosters creativity and learning. Overall, this Beginning Ballet Folklorico de Mexico class is an excellent way for young children to develop a love for dance, learn about a different culture, and build social skills in a fun and engaging way.

Ballet 1 - Beginning Ballet (Ages 6-8)
Level 1 Ballet class is an independent, introductory ballet class designed for students aged 5 to 7 who have taken dance before or for ages 8+ with no prior ballet experience. In this class, students will learn the fundamental techniques of classical ballet, including basic positions, movements, and terminology. The class typically begins with a warm-up session, which includes stretching exercises to improve flexibility and coordination. The warm-up is followed by exercises to develop basic ballet skills such as pliés, tendus, relevés, and jumps. Students will also learn basic ballet combinations, which will help them develop their musicality and movement quality. Throughout the class, students will be taught the importance of proper posture, alignment, and technique. They will also be encouraged to develop their confidence and self-expression through movement. This class is suitable for anyone who is interested in learning ballet, regardless of age or physical ability. The class is taught in a supportive and encouraging environment, and students are encouraged to progress at their own pace.
