Camp Description:

You asked, we listened! Step into the magical world of Oz again at Emerald City Adventures 2! This exciting camp is led by the renowned Shawn Kjos and the talented team at the Alamo City Stage Company. Inspired by the recently released movie Wicked, this musical theater camp will immerse young performers in the arts of singing, dancing, acting, and costume design, bringing the enchanting characters and stories of Oz to life.

Campers will explore iconic songs, dance routines, and acting techniques, while delving into costume design to create their own character looks. The week will culminate in a thrilling showcase performance on Friday, where campers will take the stage to shine in front of friends and family.

Camp Details:

Are you 14+ and passionate about theater? Our Counselors in Training (CIT) program is the perfect opportunity to develop your leadership skills while immersing yourself in the magic of musical theater!

As a CIT, you’ll assist with managing younger campers, learning valuable camp management and leadership techniques. But that’s not all—you’ll also get to participate in the creative process! CITs will perform in the showcase alongside campers, contribute to costume and set creation, and experience the thrill of bringing the world of Wicked to life.

  • This program is ideal for teens who love theater and want hands-on experience both on stage and behind the scenes. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to lead, create, and perform!

Tuition:

  • $250 per week (with lunch provided)
  • Includes a camp T-shirt and a Wicked swag bag filled with fun surprises!

Showcase Performance:

All campers will perform in a delightful showcase on Friday, sharing their talents and hard work with friends and family.
