Humberto Garcia

Humberto Garcia began his musical career nine years ago. Although his first instrument was the euphonium, Humberto transitioned into playing the guitar and quickly discovered his passion for mariachi.

Humberto, a string specialist, is currently studying at the University of Texas at San Antonio and is the Armonia Section Leader for Mariachi Los Paisanos. Along with educational experiences, Humberto performs regularly with Mariachi Gallos De Oro throughout Texas and has become well-versed in the repertoire and demands of professional mariachi. As a String Specialist, Humberto is skilled in other stringed instruments such as six and twelve-string guitar, upright bass, electric bass, and bajo quinto. Through his education and professional experience, Humberto has grown into a well- rounded musician and looks forward to sharing his knowledge and passion with future generations. Humberto is currently a student at the University of Texas at San Antonio and is pursing a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
