Edward GonzalesEdward Gonzales began his musical training playing the trumpet at an early age and has continued to defect his skills for over fifteen years now. Throughout his time in school, Edward has studied under several well-known
names in music education such as Dean Zarmbinski, Aaron Rios, and Michael Acevedo. Edward consistently earned top chairs with his high school’s ensembles and regularly played lead trumpet for the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Mariachi Los Paisanos. Along with his educational experiences, Edward has gone on to become a frequent performer in the professional mariachi scene, performing with Mariachi Gallos De Oro at events across Texas as the ensemble’s primary trumpet player. This unique combination of education and professional training has allowed Edward to come full circle in mariachi as a student, performer, and now instructor. Through his years of hard work and experience in mariachi, Edward has garnered a variety of musical skills and considers music one of his life’s greatest passions, and he looks forward to sharing that passion and knowledge with the next generation of musicians. Apart from his experience in music, Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio and works in the construction industry. |
